Terms of sale and use

These terms cover the prints you buy from Canvas & Cage and the way you use this site. The seller is Nexora Unity LLC, a company registered in Wyoming, United States. By placing an order or creating an account you agree to them. They are written to be read, so please do.

What you are buying

Original fan art. These prints are not official, licensed or endorsed by any promotion, athlete or organisation, and nothing sold here is presented as a signed or authenticated item. No signature on any print is genuine, because no print carries one. The fighters’ names and likenesses belong to them; the artwork is ours.

You are buying a printed artwork for personal use. You may hang it, gift it or sell the physical print second-hand. You may not reproduce, scan, redistribute or commercially exploit the artwork, and the images on this site may not be copied for any purpose other than deciding what to buy.

Prices, payment and tax

All prices are in US dollars and that is the amount charged. If your card is issued outside the United States your bank may convert it and add its own fee; that is between you and your bank. Shipping: United States $18.00, free over $89.00. Payment is taken by Stripe on Stripe’s own page; your order is confirmed when Stripe confirms the payment, not when you press the button.

Sales tax is added at checkout only where we are registered to collect it, and it is shown before you pay; where we are not, the price you see is the price you pay us, and any tax you owe on the purchase is your responsibility.

A discount code we issue takes the stated percentage off one order, is tied to the email address it was issued to, and expires on the date given with it. One code per address, one use per code, no cash value, and we may withdraw a code that was obtained by abuse.

Made to order, and cancelling

Nothing is held in stock. Your print is produced after you order it. You can cancel for a full refund within one hour of paying, from the button on your order page or by writing to us. After that it has gone to the lab, and a print that is being made cannot be cancelled, because it cannot be sold to anyone else.

A print typically reaches you within 3–8 business days of ordering. If yours is running past that, we tell you, give you a new estimate, and offer a full refund instead of the wait. Ownership of, and risk in, the print passes to you on delivery.

If something is wrong

There is no change-of-mind return on a made-to-order print. If a print arrives damaged or is the wrong item, tell us within 14 days of delivery with a photograph and we will print it again or refund it, your choice. Nothing needs to be posted back. Refunds go to the card you paid with, never as store credit. The full policy is on the returns page.

Where we ship

We ship to the United States only. Orders cannot be placed for delivery elsewhere, and the checkout will not accept an address outside it.

Your account

An account is optional. You sign in with a link we email you, which expires in fifteen minutes, or with a password if you choose to set one. Until it expires that link signs in whoever holds it, so keep your email account secure and do not forward it; you are responsible for what is done with your account until you tell us it has been compromised. We may close an account that is used to abuse the site or other people.

Reviews and things you send us

After a print ships we may invite you to review it. A review must be your own honest account of the print you bought. It must not contain another person’s personal information, anything unlawful, defamatory, abusive or obscene, or anything unrelated to the purchase. We never pay for reviews and never ask for a particular rating.

By submitting a review you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display it on this site, under the name you chose to show, for as long as we sell prints. We publish reviews exactly as written or not at all: we do not edit them. We decline to publish, or later remove, only reviews that break the rules above, and a low rating is never one of those reasons. You can ask us to take your review down at any time.

Fighter requests and messages sent through the contact form are used to run the shop and to reply to you. They are not published.

Using the site

Please do not scrape the site, interfere with how it works, place orders you do not intend to pay for, or use someone else’s payment details or address. We may refuse or cancel an order, refunding it in full, where we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse, or where a price was plainly a mistake.

What we promise, and what we cannot

We promise the print you receive will be the one you ordered, undamaged, and that if it is not we will put it right as set out above. Colours vary between screens and paper; a print will not be a pixel match for what your monitor shows. Beyond that, the site and everything on it are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any order is the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

If your use of the site, or content you submit, causes a claim against us by someone else, you agree to cover the reasonable costs that claim causes us.

The rest

We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do, and the version in force when you placed an order is the one that applies to it. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still stands. These terms, the returns page and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us about the shop. Neither of us is responsible for delay caused by something outside reasonable control, such as a carrier strike or a lab outage, though the refund options above still apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, United States, without affecting any consumer protection you have under the law where you live. Questions to [email protected].
